  • The average UK September farmgate price stood at 25.13ppl, 0.43ppl up on the previous month.
  • The GB average price stood at 25.14ppl in September an increase of 0.58ppl (2.3%) compared to September 2009.

The average UK September farmgate price stood at 25.13ppl, 0.43ppl up on the previous month and 1. 58ppl (4.5%) more than September last year.

Regionally, the GB average price stood at 25.14ppl in September.  This was an increase of 0.40ppl (1.6%) compared to the previous month and an increase of 0.58ppl (2.3%) compared to September 2009.  The Northern Ireland (NI) average for September stood at 25.04ppl, an increase of 0.57ppl compared to August and 4.69ppl (23.0%) more than the previous year.
